Meet Ty Sloan – Your Kitchen Coach

Hello, I’m Ty Sloan, and my culinary journey began at the tender age of 15 in my home state of Kentucky. It was then that I had the remarkable opportunity to be the chef for boys in a group home. This early experience ignited my passion for cooking and set me on a path to culinary excellence.

I graduated from The Culinary Institute of America, one of the world’s premier culinary schools, and have since cooked in restaurants across the United States, from the bustling kitchens of New York to the serene coastlines of Oregon. My diverse experiences have shaped my unique approach to cooking, with a special passion for plant-forward cuisine.

Cooking is more than just a profession for me; it’s a way to make a positive impact on people’s lives. I believe that sharing a meal can bring people closer and nourish not just the body, but the soul. I’m dedicated to sourcing, handling, and cooking the finest ingredients, always aiming to bring out the best in every dish.

As a Kitchen Coach, I share my expertise through customized cooking classes.
