I have a hands on approach to developing a strong kitchen team. This includes recruitment, hiring, and training to help any food service operation build and maintain a positive and productive working environment.
It all starts with getting to know each and every team member. Once I have taken the time to understand what drives the kitchen crew, then I can get to work on developing a progressive action plan based on the goals of the business and its employees. I believe very strongly that in order to create a successful working environment, the employees goals must be aligned with the stated business goals and vision.
This is not something that happens overnight. It takes time to get to know people and especially to make sure the right person is leading the kitchen crew. I have packages that range up to 10 hours a week, depending on the situation.
